BOGOTA LANDSCAPE

Grey sky
I look out onto the terrace
and while walking in the streets
Mist hides the beauty
Of the world around me

Many thoughts
Mountains remind me of Colorado
Where trees and hills were baithed by sunlight
But this green
Everything here I see is dull
Almost pathetic in this overcast day

Now everything is different
As am I
As am I

That was a different season
Here, days are all the same
Everything is gray
Here, in the Bogota landscape

Just wondering...
How is one to forget
Memories of colored mountains
No longer existing in my present life
Shooting stars
That is what they are
That is what they are

My reality is Colombia
Bitter and Cold grey
Much like a friendship
I'm still dreaming with Longs Peak's love

Thank you Monserrate
but you don't need to be corteous
I don't expect your kindness
In the end, we'll say goodbye
As I did with the Rockies

And now everything is different
As am I
As am I
